The typeface was created by British designer Harry Giles-Thornbory to look like the tracks left behind by an eighteen wheeler. It is composed of capital letters, each of which looks like the print left by the tread of a tire. Linotype Trucks is meant exclusively for short headlines in point sizes of 18 or larger. |
