"Courier New", which is distributed with Windows, is used mainly for writing computer code, because of its monospaced characters. In the Hebrew version of Courier, font creators based their shapes on "Miriam", an old Hebrew font, which is also distributed with Windows, and is used in Israel Railway's signage. I tried to see what happens when I strip the many "serifs" off the letters - will it worsen it? Will it better it? Apart from making minimal proportional adjustments to the ltters, the font is very similar to "Courier New". You be the judges. "Shaliah" is a courier in Hebrew. |
