In this exhibition about Dortmund as a city of immigration, two perspectives correlate: the one of migrant workers of the first generation, and the one of the generation of grandchildren who grew up in Germany. The two parts of the exhibition enhance each of the perspectives. The Hoesch-Museum shows the view of Uncle Hasan, enlisted in 1964, and the Haus der Vielfalt presents the point of view of the generation of grandchildren.
