Nearly two years ago, we introduced our Typecast app as a companion to our premium Fonts.com Web Fonts plans. Since then, thousands of users have used Typecast to design with type in the browser and prototype beautiful new sites. Meanwhile, Web font usage has now become the norm for new site. While we can't take credit for the latter, we want to ensure the trend continues. To do this, we're making some major changes to make Typecast and Web fonts are more accessible to designers than ever before.

Typecast is now free. We're also including it in all of our Fonts.com Web fonts subscriptions to make it super easy to start designing with your Web fonts. If you have a Fonts.com Web Fonts subscription, simply login at Standard, Pro and Master subscribers will also enjoy multi-seat licenses – perfect for larger workgroups.

If you don't currently have access to Typecast, there are two ways to get in! If you need to take your project all the way from design to implementation, you can sign up for a Fonts.com subscription which includes Typecast (they're better together!) as well as a host of other solutions to improve your workflow. If you just need access to Typecast, you can sign up at Typecast.com.
