For this special throwback issue of Newsweek, Design Director Dirk Barnett and Art Director Lindsay Ballant researched the magazine's history and turned the issue into a design that feels 1965. The cover looks a bit too polished and crowded to be authentically vintage (see an actual cover from that year), butNews Gothic— a staple of the 1960s in the US — was a good choice.
