I discovered this today via a tweet by Erik Spiekermann, whose memorable description of the typeface in the film Helvetica could have inspired the product (or at least its other tagline: "Air. Water. You.")…

It is ubiquitous. It is a default. It's air. It's just air. There's no choice. You have to breathe, so you have to use Helvetica.
